Import an existing wallet
Restore a compatible wallet in Wavel on Windows or macOS.

Before you begin
Download Wavel from wavel.app and make sure nobody can see your screen.
- Open Wavel and select I already have a wallet.
- Create a strong local password.
- Enter a recovery phrase supported by Wavel and confirm the import.
- Review the discovered accounts and networks before using them.
Only enter a recovery phrase inside the official Wavel desktop app. Anyone with this phrase can control every compatible account derived from it.
After importing, verify account addresses against your previous wallet before transferring assets. Some networks or account types may use different derivation paths and may need to be added manually.
