Create a new Wavel wallet

Install Wavel on Windows or macOS and create a secure multichain wallet.

Download Wavel

Download Wavel from wavel.app. Wavel supports Windows 10 or later with a 64-bit installer and macOS 12 Monterey or later with a Universal binary.

Create your wallet

  1. Open Wavel and select Create a new wallet.
  2. Create a strong password used to unlock Wavel on this computer.
  3. Write down your recovery phrase and store it offline in a secure place.
  4. Confirm the requested recovery words to finish setup.
Never share your recovery phrase or private keys. Wavel support will never ask for them. Do not store them in screenshots, cloud notes, email, or the clipboard.

Fund an account

Select the account and network you want to use, then choose Receive. Copy the displayed address and verify that the sending platform uses the same network. Each network uses its own native token for transaction fees, so keep enough of that token available before sending, swapping, or interacting with a dapp.
