Native coins

A native coin belongs to a blockchain network and is normally used to pay transaction fees on that network.

Fungible tokens

Fungible tokens are issued using a network-specific contract, mint, or asset standard. The same name or symbol can exist on multiple networks, so Wavel identifies tokens by both network and full identifier.

Approvals and network costs

Some networks require a token approval before a dapp or swap provider can spend a token. Others may charge for token-account creation, storage, or rent. Review every request and avoid unlimited approvals unless you trust the application and understand the risk.

Wavel only displays standards supported by the selected network. An unsupported token can remain accessible through another compatible wallet using the same recovery phrase.
